I skipped over the paragraph at first, thinking it was going to be crap I don't care much about, and when I went back to read it I was so surprised. That question depends on what your corporation wants you too fly, make an example of a few ships by name. Because I'm now in a situation not too different from yours, my best advice is to go ahead and find out if she has feelings for you and act on what you find out. Back on subject, though I love gallente ships, I've found myself falling in love with a few amarr drone boats, the neut/nos bonused ones particularly. My best advice would be to dump a bit of sp into amarr and gallente up to destroyers, and find out which drone boats you perfer, because both the Armageddon and Dominion x seem to be popular these days. Also, Minmatar ships can be armor fitted or shield fitted, giving you the option to train the weapons first so you can fly the ships right away, then train shields later and fly in shield fleets. Also, it is not uncommon to see Amarrian ships fit with autocannons. You train projectile weapons and you open up a world before you. Plus, what kind of woman won't cream herself when she sees you dropping opponents in one shot with artillery? I don't think that a commitment avoiding race like the minmatar attract girls, and no one is impressed by someone fighting and winning below their weight class. And minmatar weapons are only still popular on cap problematic and non gun bonused hulls, mostly because they take up the least space. But many women prefer a man who can deftly sweep her off her feet, and regale her with fascinating tales he has picked up along his travels. Minmatar aren't really the raw fighters or the brazen behemoths when it comes to ship combat. Minmatar prefer to write their own code of honor and fight to win, regardless of how pretty they look or how big their ships are. Some women like a man with a big ship, but some like a man who can gain the upper hand in a fight he didn't start. Minmatar are always the aggressors when alpha is involved, as it will only hit the ships it can one shot under ideal circumstances, and don't you think thst honor involves not running away from a fight you started, especially when things don't go as planned, something that your average minmatar pilot would never do. I believe that women would perfer a man who would defend their honor, not stall until they can figure out if they'll win or lose. Unlike the amarr and gallente, no one will mention your toughness in battle or the way you defeat your opponent through sheer willpower, but they will remember you whittling down your opponent in a fight that shouldn't have lasted longer than a minute. Reaver Glitterstim wrote:Actually it is the Amarrian women who are most likely to cheat on their spouses. Minmatar women don't usually settle down with a man they don't like in the first place, Gallente women don't call it cheating, and Caldari women are lucky if they can get away with buying bubblegum. Amarr women are devout, how dare you try to suggest that they don't follow their religious rules, as for gallente, it isn't cheating with all the date **** drugs in the air. Reaver Glitterstim wrote:Nah, you're mistaken. Gallente don't have a lot of date **** drugs because they simply aren't necessary. Oh yeah that's right, because taking tons of different drugs, both willingly and accidentally, does not make people act far outside their normal behavior. Reaver Glitterstim wrote:I'm sure several of the drugs we Gallente indulge in from time to time could be considered date **** drugs in some circles, but we don't slip them in drinks without asking first, and we don't need them to spread legs. A one-night stand is as common among Gallente as a handshake is among Caldari, if not more.
At their roots, gallente are about as honorable as it gets, and with the spreading of legs being that common, I'm sure most marriages in gallente space have open arrangements. I guess you're right, it's not cheating when their spouses know and do the same.
